I am recruiting manager of Woosong University in South Korea. We are currently recruiting full-time professors from global top design schools.

Regarding the details, please find the specific information as below;

 

■ Requirements and Qualifications:

Department: School of Media-Design

Major: Digital video graphics

Ph.D. in related field with more than 3 years of work experiences

Master’s degree in related field with more than 7 years of work experiences

 

1. Qualifications and conditions

I.         Research performance

ü  Research activities: For the period Dec. 1, 2010 ~ Nov. 30, 2014

ü  Points for publishing the paper at the journal

ü  Individual research: 100 points

ü  For collaborative research, point will be calculated following the guidelines below.

☞   Joint research Calculation: Principal researcher (2/n+2), collaborator (1/n+2).
          (N: total number of researchers)

☞   If the total number of researchers exceeds 15, the number of researchers will be counted as 15.

☞   If paper was published on A&HCI, SCOPUS, SSCI, SCIE, or National Research Foundation of Korea, 200 points will be awarded.

II.       Candidates should be able to speak Korean fluently

III.    Industry career is preferred

IV.    A competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience

V.      The contract renewal will depend upon performance

VI.    After acceptance, the faculty must live in Daejeon, South Korea.

3. Screening Process

I.         Document screening: Major, Career and Research performance

II.       Interview

      Interviewee needs to prepare the below:

        - Thesis of master and Ph.D.

        - Research results, which you submitted the research paper list

III.    Lecturing demonstration (Public lecture)

        - FYI, once you pass on the interview, will have “Lecturing demonstration”

        - Individual notifications

 

4. Others

-           The position may remain vacant if desired qualifications are not met

-           The submitted documents will not be returned, but will not be used in any other purpose.

-           If submitted document is found falsified, hiring will result in dismissal

-           Incomplete documents and under qualified applications will not be accepted
